Caldwell County’s cross country squads took part in the Christian County Invitational Saturday morning in Hopkinsville.
The Tigers’ top runner was Justin Kelley, who placed 160th out of over 200 runners in the varsity race. He turned in a time of 21:11.
Kelley was followed by Johnathan Beshear (182nd, 22:39), Jerrod Straitt (189th, 22:59) and Johnathan Murray (197th, 23:44).
In the girls varsity race, Caldwell’s Lindsey King was 94th in 23:48. Brittany Straitt took 160th (27:07) with Sophie Van Hooser finishing 193rd (36:07).
In the boys middle school run, Caldwell’s Kota Young took 73rd (20:47) and Ian Brown finished in 87th (23:16).
The Lady Tigers’ Paige Young was 32nd (21:25) in the girls middle school competition.
