Four thefts reported Thursday remain under investigation by Princeton police officers.
Two thefts were reported from neighboring homes on Highland Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Maj. R.L. Howton said.
Randall O. Jackson, of 115 North Highland Ave., and Stephen C. Gray, of 117 North Highland Ave., each reported some stolen items.
Jackson said someone stole a VEI electric meter and a DeWalt cordless drill from his vehicle, parked at the residence, between midnight and the time of the report. The items were valued at $95.
Gray said someone stole an assortment of tools, an electric meter and a Carhartt coat from his vehicle, parked at his residence, also between midnight and 6:30. Gray valued his stolen items at $160.
• Randy Hayes, of 427 East Market St., reported a theft at 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
Hayes said that sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, and 7 a.m. Thursday, someone stole a duffel bag, ratchet straps, a tow strap and a flashlight from his vehicle, which was parked at his residence. Hayes placed the value of the stolen items at $145.
• A prescription drug theft reported from a Good Street residence remains under investigation.
Rodney W. Bell, of 109 Good St., reported the theft at 3:52 p.m. Thursday.
Bell told officers that sometime between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:15 p.m. Thursday, someone stole a bottle of prescription pain medicine from his residence.
Bell said the bottle contained 26 Percocet tablets that he had been prescribed for pain when he had some wisdom teeth removed.
Bell said the bottle was sitting on his mantel Wednesday when he left to spend the night with a friend. When he returned home Thursday, the bottle was gone.
Bell valued the medicine at $15.02, police said.
