June 30…The Asher Cemetery memorial service is set for Saturday beginning with the business meeting at 10:30 a.m. Bro. John Ray Baker will bring the morning message after the business meeting. A potluck meal will follow. The service and meal are open to all those interested in the cemetery. In case of rain it will be at the home of Trustee James Rowland.

July 10-11…Pennyroyal Hospice will be holding a volunteer training session on Tuesday and Wednesday in the conference room of the Pennyroyal Hospice offices at 101 W. 18th St., Hopkinsville. The class will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. There is no charge for the training and lunch will be provided. Both days are required to complete the class.
