Aug. 5…A Caldwell County Sportsman Club membership TRAPSHOOT is scheduled on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the sportsman range on U.S. 62-East.
Aug. 5…The MISS CALDWELL COUNTY BLACK PATCH PAGEANT is planned Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Caldwell County Fire and Rescue Building. The event is sponsored by Ziobro’s. Deadline for entry is Friday, Aug. 3.
Back to school…
Aug. 6…Caldwell County Middle School plans open house on Monday from 5-7 p.m. An information program begins at 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts auditorium followed by a time to visit with teachers. Orientation times are 5-6 p.m. for eighth grade, 6-7 p.m. for sixth grade and 7-8 p.m. for seventh grade.
Aug. 7…Caldwell County High School plans open house Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. An information program begins at 5 p.m. in the Fine Arts auditorium followed by a time to visit with teachers.
Aug. 8…Caldwell County schools open next week with the first day for students on Wednesday. The school staff opens the school year on Tuesday.
