Sept. 4…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SENIORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement.
Sept. 4…The Caldwell County Ministerial Association meets Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Pagliai’s. The meetings are open to any minister of any denomination who wishes to attend.
Sept. 4…Princeton Rotary Club meets Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Majestic House.
Sept. 4…The PRINCETON CITY COUNCIL is scheduled to meet on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Tourist Welcome Center, adjacent to City Hall.
Sept. 4…The Princeton Business and Professional Women’s Club meet at 6 p.m. at Majestic House Restaurant. Guest speakers will be Abigail Tucker and members of the PAL. Visitors are always welcome.

Sept. 6…A BUSINESS ASSESSMENT SURVEY AND PLANNING MEETING is scheduled on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Caldwell County Extension Office. All business, government and interested individuals should attend.
Sept. 6…The clothes closet at Fredonia First Baptist Church will be closed for the next two to three months for renovations. Clothing will not be accepted during this time.
Sept. 6…The Caldwell County Free Clinic opens at 5 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Central Presbyterian Church.
Sept. 6…A special FAMILY READING NIGHT to honor GRANDPARENTS is planned on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the CCPS playroom. Grandparents are invited to read with grandchildren. A special program will be presented by Katie Walls second grade. All interested persons are welcome.
Sept. 6…A GIRL SCOUT PARENT/ DAUGHTER INFORMATION meeting for all girls interested in becoming a Girl Scout is planned on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Caldwell County EMS Building meeting room.
Sept. 6…A PUMPKIN PRODUCTION FIELD DAY is planned Thursday at 6 p.m. at Davis Greenhouses. Topics will be weed control in pumpkins and the vegetable cooperators program.
Sept. 6…An organizational meeting for the newly formed Fredonia Valley Heritage Society will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. in Fredonia at the Cafeteria of the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Fredonia (formerly the Fredonia School). Sept. 8…The annual Butler/Caldwell Alumni and Friends reunion is planned on Saturday. Sept. 15…Lyon County Champions Coalition is hosting the 2nd Annual Car Cruise-In on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration is FREE. There will be raffles and trophies. A teen class (18 and under) gets separate trophies. There is a DJ from noon to 4 p.m. All money raised goes to the movie project.
