Monday…

Sept. 24…The Caldwell County Primary School SBDM Council TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE will meet Monday at 2:50 p.m. at the school.

Sept. 24…The Caldwell County Primary School SBDM Council CURRICULUM/INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES COMMITTEE will meet Monday at 3 p.m. at the school.

Sept. 24…The Princeton ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD’s DIRECTORS meets Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the PEPB office.

Sept. 24…The Princeton HOUSING AUTHORITY Board is scheduled to meet Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Hillview Court Community Room.

Sept. 24…A computer class for adults will be offered by the Community Disciples beginning Monday. The computer basics class is presented through the Disciples/Hydro-Gear partnership. The course will be taught at the Mary Jane Jones Community Center. The one-hour class will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue on Mondays for a total of six weeks. Persons who want to take the class can register by contacting Pat George at 365-0224 or Pat Lander at 365-3943.

Sept. 24…The TIGER BOOSTER CLUB will have its regular monthly meeting on Monday at 5:15 p.m. at the CCHS Field House. All Booster Club members are encouraged to attend. To become a booster club member, persons can contact Jill Giordano at 365-0230. Annual dues are $20 per family. Meetings are held the last Monday of each month.

Sept. 24…Caldwell County HOSPITAL BOARD of Directors meets Monday at 6 p.m. at the Hospital Board Conference Room.

Sept. 24…Living Hope Pregnancy Care Ministry offers a PARENTING/PREGNANCY CLASS each Monday from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at the Mary Jane Jones Community Building at 108 W. Green St. Persons who want more information can call Tajuana Davis at 388-0861.

Sept. 24…The Lyon County BOARD OF EDUCATION meets Monday at 6:45 p.m. for a presentation at the high school, followed by the regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the District Conference Center.

Tuesday…

Sept. 25…KENTUCKY KIDS DAY will be observed by the Caldwell County Primary-Elementary PTA on Tuesday. There will be a free movie at Capitol Theatre, a Wulfe Bros. performance and restaurant coupons.

Sept. 25…The Caldwell County Fiscal Court meets Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the courthouse.

Sept. 25…The CLOTHING ROOM at First Baptist Church is open Tuesday, 8:30 to 11 a.m., in the fellowship hall off the Cave Street entrance.

Sept. 25…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SENIORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement.

Sept. 25…Murray State University President Dr. Randy Dunn will be guest speaker Tuesday for a joint meeting of the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs and the Princeton-Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Princeton Golf and Country Club. The public is invited. Those wanting to attend who are not Rotary or Kiwanis members are asked to call the Chamber office, 365-5393, to make a reservation.

Sept. 25…Princeton Chapter 315 Eastern Star will have a Stated Meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge Hall. Dinner is at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. The group urges all members to attend.

Wednesday…

Sept. 26…The Caldwell County HOMEMAKERS TRAINING, “Fancy Fixins,” will be presented at the Caldwell County Extension Office on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Chris Rivera-Duncan will be presenting the lesson.

Sept. 26…The CALDWELL COUNTY LEPC will meet on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Emergency Operation Center at the EMS Building.

Sept. 26…The George Coon Library BOARD OF DIRECTORS is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Library.

Sept. 26…The ADSMORE MUSEUM BOARD OF DIRECTORS meets Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the library.
