A North Highland Avenue teen was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop Thursday morning.
Princeton police charged Cassie J. Trusty, 18, with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance, first degree, after stopping the 1998 Jeep she was driving at 10:27 a.m. Thursday.
Officers confiscated a small amount of suspected marijuana and three suspected Klonopin tablets in her purse. She was lodged in the county jail.
• Ryan Knight, 18, of Citizens Court, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. Monday on a charge of fleeing or evading, second degree.
Knight allegedly fled from officers who were trying to question him on the railroad tracks near Cadiz Street.
He was located approximately a half-hour later, hiding in his residence, police said. He was taken into custody and lodged in the county jail.
• Malcolm Grey, 51, of North Plum Street, was arrested and jailed at 5:23 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, on a charge of alcohol intoxication. Officers had observed him walking, apparently intoxicated, on West Green Street.
• At 3:21 p.m. Sept. 28, officers arrested and jailed Jona Medina, 30, of U.S. 62 West, on a Caldwell County warrant charging him with failure to pay or appear.
• Police are investigating a burglary reported at a residence in the 900 block of West Main Street Sunday.
Johnny A. Fortner reported the burglary at noon. He told officers that between 10:30 a.m. and noon, while he was away from the residence, someone forced open a door and entered the home.
About $382 in coins were taken, he said. Another resident of the home, Lois Clark, also reported items missing. She told officers that approximately $2,600 in jewelry had been taken in the burglary.
