Monday…

Nov. 12…The Caldwell County Courthouse and Annex will be closed on Monday in observance of Veterans Day.

Nov. 12…The Caldwell County Primary School SBDM WELLNESS COMMITTEE will meet Monday at 4 p.m. at the school.

Nov. 12…A CALDWELL COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE KICKOFF is planned on Monday at 5:30 p.m. on the steps at the Caldwell County Courthouse. In case of rain, the meeting will be in the former Brown’s Furniture building. This year’s theme is “Heroes.”

Nov. 12…Living Hope Pregnancy Care Ministry offers a PARENTING/PREGNANCY CLASS each Monday from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at the Mary Jane Jones Community Building at 108 W. Green St. Persons who want more information can call Tajuana Davis at 388-0861.

Nov. 13…A BOOK SALE is planned at Caldwell County Hospital in the board room in the basement on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Nov. 13…The Caldwell County Fiscal Court meets Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the courthouse.

Nov. 13…KDVA Regional Field Representative Renita Duff will be in Princeton on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until noon at City Hall. Duff will provide veterans and their families with counseling and assistance in filing claims for state and federal benefits.

Nov. 13…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SENIORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement.

Nov. 13…Princeton Rotary Club meets Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Majestic House.

Nov. 13…The Caldwell County Primary School SBDM LITERACY COMMITTEE will meet Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the school.

Nov. 13…The Princeton Business and Professional Women’s Club meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pagliai's Restaurant. This is membership month and all interested are invited to attend. Special guests will be Women of the Day during National Business Women's Week.

Nov. 13…The CALDWELL-LYON PARTNERSHIP, INC. will hold its fifth annual meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Kuttawa United Methodist Church. Agracel CEO Jack Schultz will speak.

Nov. 13…NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), a support group for family and friends of persons with a mental illness, will meet on Tuesday, 6-7:30 p.m. at Western State Hospital’s Training Center (on top of hill, around back). Nov. 13…The Kuttawa CITY COUNCIL will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in City Hall. The meeting is rescheduled from Monday, which is being observed as a Veterans Day holiday.

Nov. 13…Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 8-11 will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Kuttawa Harbor Marina.

Nov. 13…The Caldwell County 4-H COUNCIL will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office.

Nov. 14…The RADIANT RED HATS will meet on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Majestic House.

Nov. 19…The annual Caldwell County 4-H ACHIEVEMENT BANQUET will be held on Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the UK Research and Education Center.

Nov. 20…A FOSTER PARENT INFORMATION MEETING is planned on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lyon County Library. The event is sponsored by the Pennyroyal Center. Persons interested are asked to RSVP 365-2007.

Nov. 20…The Caldwell County REPUBLICAN WOMEN’S CLUB is scheduled to meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Pagliai’s. Guests are welcome to attend.

Dec. 8…Cookies for a cause, a fund-raiser for the Caldwell County Free Clinic, Inc. is planned on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
