A one-vehicle crash on Ky. 1119 at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday injured the 2000 Jeep Cherokee’s driver, Anita Baker, of the county. Baker, 57, news editor of The Times Leader, was eastbound about 0.9 mile from Ky. 293 when she encountered an animal in the roadway while coming around a curve, Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Young said. The Jeep left the shoulder, overcorrected, hit a driveway culvert and overturned, coming to rest in a yard. Baker was transported by EMS personnel to the local ER, where she was treated and released.
