Monday…

Nov. 26…The Caldwell County Primary School SBDM Council TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE will meet Monday at 2:50 p.m. at the school.

Nov. 26…Primary School SBDM Council CURRICULUM/INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES COMMITTEE will meet Monday at 3 p.m. at the school.

Nov. 26…The Princeton HOUSING AUTHORITY Board is scheduled to meet Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the Hillview Court Community Room.

Nov. 26…Living Hope Pregnancy Care Ministry offers a PARENTING/PREGNANCY CLASS each Monday from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at the Mary Jane Jones Community Building at 108 W. Green St. Persons who want more information can call Tajuana Davis at 388-0861.

Nov. 26…The TIGER BOOSTER CLUB will have its regular monthly meeting on Monday at 5:15 p.m. at the CCHS Field House. All Booster Club members are encouraged to attend. To become a booster club member, persons can contact Jill Giordano at 365-0230. Annual dues are $20 per family. Meetings are held the last Monday of each month.

Nov. 26…Caldwell County HOSPITAL BOARD of Directors meets Monday at 6 p.m. at the Hospital Board Conference Room.

Nov. 26…The Lyon County BOARD OF EDUCATION meets Monday at 7 p.m. in the District Conference Center.

Nov. 26…The George Coon Public Library will host guest speaker Anthony Redfeather Nava, an accomplished Native American musician, artist, composer and producer, Monday at 7 p.m. The program is sponsored jointly by the Trail of Tears Commission and the library.

Tuesday…

Nov. 27…The Caldwell County Fiscal Court meets Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the courthouse.

Nov. 27…The CLOTHING ROOM at First Baptist Church is open Tuesday, 8:30 to 11 a.m., in the fellowship hall off the Cave Street entrance.

Nov. 27…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SENIORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement. The activity is free.

Nov. 27…Princeton Rotary Club meets Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Majestic House.

Nov. 27…The Caldwell County Democratic Woman's Club will meet Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. at Pagliai's Restaurant for the November meeting. This is a change because of a scheduling conflict. All members are urged to attend. Officer election of two positions will be held.

Nov. 27…Carlisle Orange Post 116 American Legion and Auxiliary will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the American Legion building on Cadiz Road.

Nov. 27…The Princeton Chapter 315 EASTERN STAR will have a stated meeting on Tuesday at the Masonic Lodge Hall. Dinner is at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. The group urges all members to attend.

Nov. 27…The Caldwell County EXTENSION OFFICE will host a COMMUNITY FORUM on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Extension Office. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The purpose of the forum is to discuss issues facing Caldwell County and look at ways Extension can help address them in the next 4-year plan of work.

Nov. 27…The Caldwell County EXTENSION COUNCIL will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Extension Office. The District Board will meet immediately following.

Wednesday…

Nov. 28…The Princeton-Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce board meets Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at Atmos Energy.

Nov. 28…The Princeton Kiwanis Club meets Wednesday at noon at the Majestic House Restaurant.

Nov. 28…The George Coon Library BOARD OF DIRECTORS is scheduled to meet Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the Library.

Nov. 28…The ADSMORE MUSEUM BOARD OF DIRECTORS meets Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the library.

Thursday…

Nov. 29…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SENIORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement. The activity is free.

Nov. 29…The FREDONIA CLOTHES CLOSET is open Thursdays from 1-3 p.m. at the Fredonia First Baptist Church Family Life Center. (Old Fredonia School, use double door entrance at the back of the building.) Any person in need of clothing is welcome. However, the clothes closet is not accepting clothing at this time.

Nov. 29…Princeton WATER AND WASTEWATER COMMISSION meets Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room at the water department office, 101 E. Market St.

Nov. 29…The Princeton ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD’s DIRECTORS meets Monday at 4:30 p.m. at the PEPB office.

Nov. 29…The Caldwell County Free Clinic opens at 5 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Central Presbyterian Church.

Dec. 1…The first annual Caldwell County Primary School Jingle Bell 5k Run/2-Mile Walk is planned on Saturday at 9 a.m. with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the Butler lawn. Early registration ends Nov. 28. The course is downtown Princeton. Entry fee is $15. The first 100 registrants will receive a race t-shirt. Entries can be sent to Caldwell County Primary School, C/O Jingle Bell Run/Walk, 1000 Marion Road, Princeton, KY 42445. For information, persons can call Johannah Wynn at 365-8040.

Dec. 1…Caldwell County CANCER SUPPORT GROUP meets Saturday at 9 a.m. at George Coon Library.

Dec. 1…The Princeton CHRISTMAS PARADE will be held in downtown Princeton on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Dec. 2…The Dawson Springs Senior Class will be sponsoring a Christmas Home Tour on Sunday from 1-5:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased for $5 from a senior class member. For more information persons can contact Tammy Workman at 797-2991 ext. 6105.

Dec. 1…The SALEM CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR is planned Saturday from 2-5 p.m. Five Salem homes, decorated for the Christmas season, will be on the tour. This event is sponsored by the Salem Garden Club. Proceeds will go toward civic improvements in Salem. Tickets are $10 the day of the tour and can be purchased at the first home, the residence of Stan and Beverly Wallace, 714 E. Main St., across from the Livingston Hospital.

Dec. 2…The Princeton Elks Lodge 1115 will host the ELKS MEMORIAL SERVICE on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Lodge.

Dec. 3…The GEN. JOHN CALDWELL CHAPTER NSDAR will meet on Monday evening at Princeton Golf and Country Club at 6 p.m. Cost of the meal is $10.

Dec. 3…The Class of 1965 will meet Monday at the Majestic House, at 6 p.m. This is a fun time for all class members, spouses, friends and children. Everybody is welcomed.

Dec. 6…The Caldwell County HISTORICAL SOCIETY will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the George Coon Library. Sam Koltinsky is the featured speaker.

Dec. 8…Woodmen of the World Adult Lodge 92 and Youth 815 will have BREAKFAST WITH SANTA on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Area Fire and Rescue Training Center on U.S. 62-West. Persons who would like to attend can RSVP by Dec.1 by calling 365-6111 or 365-5646.

Dec. 8…Cookies for a cause, a fund-raiser for the Caldwell County Free Clinic, Inc. is planned on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tourist Welcome Center.

Dec. 8…SOUTHERN CRUISERS RIDING CLUB CHAPTER 440 PENNYRILE will meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Caldwell County EOC building, 102 Northfield Drive.

Dec. 8…Holiday Gift Showcase at Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers is planned Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10-4, and Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1-4. A variety of merchandise is available. Activities for the kids include Santa and a kids’ only secret shopping room where all gifts for parents are just $3. A two-night stay at the resort will be given away.
