Caldwell County’s tennis teams finished the regular season with a pair of routs — easily handling Ft. Campbell on Tuesday and Christian County on Thursday at the CCHS courts.

Caldwell’s boys finish the season with a 12-3 record while the girls were 11-4.

Caldwell dropped only three points in the entire match against overmatched Ft. Campbell.

The Lady Tigers won 7-0 while the Tigers took all six boys matches.

In girls singles play, Claire Catlett defeated Parshia Austin 6-0, 6-0; Savannah Pepper def. Morgan Meade 8-0; Katherine Farmer def. Shamar Betancourt 8-1; Drew Dillingham def. Kierra Whitehead 8-0; and Annie Talley def. Raven Pelfrey 8-0.

Girls doubles action saw Farmer/Dillingham def. Whitehead/Austin 6-0, 6-0; and Talley/Mary Mac Joiner def. Meade/Betancourt 8-1.

In boys singles, Ben Scott def. Jenaro Gonzalez 6-0, 6-0; Austin Adams def. Ryan McConville 8-0; Will Oliver def. Nick Collett 8-0; and Matt Tittle def. Jared Wright 8-0.

In doubles, Oliver/Hunter Giannini def. McConville/Collett 6-0, 6-0; and Logan Hall/Clint Joiner def. Wright/Gonzalez 8-1.

On Thursday, Caldwell dropped just one match against Christian. The Lady Tigers won 9-0 while the Tigers gained an 8-1 decision.

In girls singles, Catlett def. Alyssa Oberdorff 6-1, 6-0; Pepper def. Francessa Campone 6-0; Farmer def. Katherine Riley 6-1; Dillingham def. Kelsea Rogers 6-0; Talley def. Beth Chapman 6-0; and Joiner def. Heather Braun 6-0.

In girls doubles, Farmer/Dillingham def. Oberdorff/Campone 6-0, 6-2; Talley/Joiner def. Riley/Rogers 6-0; and Maggie Wetzel/Larissa Patterson def. Emkyia Girten/Christian Bumphus 6-1.

In boys singles action, Scott lost to John Harbold 5-7, 0-6; Adams def. Thomas Gulley 6-0; Oliver def. Matt Danter 6-0; Tittle def. Stewart Wilson 6-1; Hall def. Zach Mosier 6-0; and Giannini def. Devin Bannister 6-0.

In boys doubles, Oliver/Giannini def. Gulley/Hunter Lewis 6-3, 6-1; Hall/Joiner def. Danter/Mosier 6-2; and John Paul Boitnott/Zach Adams def. Harbold/Wilson 7-5.

Caldwell’s squads will be in action at the regional tennis tournament in Henderson next week.
