Carrol Oliver, 66, formerly of Princeton, now of Cortland, Ohio, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at 2:05 p.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.
A retired inspector at General Motors, he was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Caldwell County, a son of the late Carrie Lee and Anna Lahoma Lewallen Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Oliver on Aug. 23, 2007, and two brothers, George Oliver and Roy Oliver.
Survivors include two sons, Chris Oliver and Bruce Oliver, both of Cortland, Ohio; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Oliver of Caldwell County and Frank Oliver of Dawson Springs; three sisters, Sylvia Cayce of Caldwell County, Elizabeth Hall and Mary Lou Porter, both of Copperas Cove, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
The Rev. Ricky Conger will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Jane Nichols Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
