Today…

July 5…The FARMERSVILLE SCHOOL REUNION is planned Saturday at the Majestic House Restaurant in Princeton. Doors open for visiting and registration at 10 a.m. with a business meeting at 11 a.m. and buffet style lunch ($11) at noon. No reservations required.

Sunday…

July 6…A Caldwell County Sportsman Club membership TRAPSHOOT is scheduled on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the sportsman range on U.S. 62-East.

July 6…CELEBRATE RECOVERY, a Christian 12-step program for addiction co-dependency, any other hurts, habits and hangups is planned Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in the Northside Baptist Church Sanctuary. A meal is served and the group extends a welcome to all interested.

July 6…A FREE CONCERT IN THE PARK is planned Sunday, 7-9 p.m., at the beach area near Kuttawa Harbor. The 300th Army Band from Bell, Cal., will play a mix of patriotic, jazz and rock & roll music. Take lawn chairs.

Monday…

July 7…The Barkley Lodge Fraternal Order of Police has announced a CORRECTIONS RALLY on Monday at 3:15 p.m. at Old Eddyville Park, across from the Peniten­tiary.

July 7…The Class of 1965 will meet on Monday at the Majestic House, at 6 p.m. This is planned as a fun time for class members, spouses, friends and children. Everyone is welcomed.

July 7…Living Hope Pregnancy Care Ministry offers a PARENTING/PREGNANCY CLASS each Mon­day from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at the Mary Jane Jones Com­­munity Building at 108 W. Green St. Persons who want more in­formation can call Tajuana Davis at 388-0861.

July 7…The Eddyville CITY COUNCIL will meet Mon­day at 6 p.m. in City Hall.

Tuesday…

July 8…Caldwell County FISCAL COURT meets Tues­day at 8 a.m. at the courthouse.

July 8…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SEN­IORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement. The activity is free.

July 8…Princeton Ro­ta­ry Club meets Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Majestic House.

July 8…The CLASS OF 1968 will meet Tuesday at Pagliai’s at 6 p.m. to finalize plans for the 40th class reunion.

July 8…NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), a support group for family and friends of people with a mental illness, will meet on Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at Western State Hospital’s training center (on top of hill, around back). a nami connection consumer-led support group will also meet at the same time. Persons with questions can call Marcia Bell at 719-0648.

July 8…U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 8-11 will meet at Eddy Creek Marina. The group will eat at 6 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7 p.m.

Wednesday…

July 9…A PESTICIDE CONTAINER RINSE AND RETURN event is planned on Wednesday from 8-11 a.m. at Agri-Chem. The event is a project of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and Caldwell County Extension Office.

July 9…The RADIANT RED HATS will meet Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Charle’s Steak House (formerly Pap’s Farmhouse) in the Saratoga area.

July 9…The Princeton Kiwanis Club meets Wed­nes­day at noon at the Majestic House.
