A safety checkpoint investigation in Eddyville led to the arrest of a Princeton woman Monday, Aug. 18, Eddyville police said Friday.
At 9:20 p.m. on that date, Eddyville officers were assisting with the checkpoint in the area of U.S. 62 and the industrial park and came in contact with 35-year-old Tabitha Gray of Princeton, said Sgt. Jaime Green.
After investigating, officers arrested her for possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense. She was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
• At 8:26 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, officers stopped 41-year-old Roger Lisanby of Eddyville for a standard traffic violation.
After further investigation, officers arrested Lisanby for speeding and DUI, first offense. He was jailed.
• At 4:32 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, officers arrested Melodi Sherman, 40, of Eddyville, on a bench warrant out of Crittenden County for unlawful transaction with a minor, third degree.
Sherman was released on bond, police said.
