Monday…

Oct. 6…The Princeton CITY COUNCIL meets on Monday at 5 p.m. in the Tourist Welcome Center.

Oct. 6…Curves of Princeton will hold a “Girls Night In” Breast Cancer Awareness event on Monday from 5-7 p.m. There will be a silent auction, food, prizes and more.Members of the community are invited. For more information, persons can call 270-365-1700, or stop by Curves at 100 U.S .Highway 62 West in Princeton.

Oct. 6…The Tiger Booster Club September meeting will be held Monday at 5:15 p.m. at the Fieldhouse.The meeting is one week later than scheduled because of a conflict of schedules.

Oct. 6…The Class of 1965 will meet on Monday at the Majestic House at 6 p.m. This is a fun time for all class members, spouses, friends and children. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Oct. 6…The EDDYVILLE CITY COUNCIL meets Monday at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

Tuesday…

Oct. 7…Caldwell County Hospital EXERCISE FOR SEN­IORS will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the hospital basement. The activity is free.

Oct. 7…Princeton Ro­ta­ry Club meets Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Majestic House. The club is internet accessible at http://www.princetonrotaryclub.org/.

Oct. 7…The Caldwell County High School SBDM Council meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the high school library.

Oct. 7…The Princeton Business and Profes­sional Women’s Club meets Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Majestic House Restaurant. The club urges all members to attend.

Oct. 7…A Parenting Class: Nutrition & Heal­thy Eating is scheduled Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Mary Jane Jones Community Center, 108 W. Green St. Classes are free. For further information persons can contact TaJuana Davis 388-0861, Teresa Wurts 365-7138 or Marjorie Yandell 545-3429.

Oct. 7…Caldwell County DUCKS UNLIMITED CHAPTER will meet Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Caldwell County EMS building on Northfield Drive.

Oct. 8…A PARENT WORKSHOP for all parents of students in Caldwell County Schools is set Wednesday, 9 to 10:30/11 a.m. at the Pumpkin Patch, Hwy. 139 North.

Oct. 8…The RADIANT RED HATS will meet Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Pagliai’s.

Oct. 9…The Princeton KIWANIS CLUB will meet Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Princeton Golf and Country Club for installation of officers. The club will not meet Wednesday this week.

Oct. 10…The Wetheads Swimming Group meets Fri­day at 11:30 a.m. at Pagliai’s Restaurant. Charlene Bowker is hostess. Everyone is invited to attend.

Oct. 11…A HAM RADIO CLASS will be presented by the Princeton Ham Radio Club on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Caldwell County EMS Building. A test for technician license will be given at 4 p.m.

Oct. 11…COME TOGETHER DAY is planned Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. in Dotson Park. The event is hosted by the Community Disciples, who will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs with other refreshments available.

••If any person is MISSING A PET, contact the local ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER at 365-4652 or the CHRIS­­­­­TIAN COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER (887-4175). Volun­teers and foster families are being recruited to assist the program locally. Staffed by volunteers, the Caldwell County Animal Res­cue facility, located between Food Giant and the ball fields on Cadiz Road, is open each Monday, Wednesday and Fri­day from 4-6 p.m.
