Ninety-four cases were on the calendar Monday, June 29, when Judge Jill Clark took the bench for Caldwell County District Court.

Court records show the following action:

• Antonio E. Crowe enter­ed a guilty plea to disregarding a stop sign and failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security. He was fined $525, with $400 suspended and court costs to be paid at $25 per week beginning July 13.

• Linda Jaeger entered a not guilty plea to failure to wear a seat belt and no or expired registration plates. Pretrial conference was set for July 6.

• Shannon M. Lane enter­ed a guilty plea to failure to wear a seat belt. She was fined $25 to be paid by July 27. A charge of failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security was dismissed with valid proof filed.

• Cynthia Lawhorn entered a not guilty plea to theft by deception including cold checks over $300. She was appointed a public defender at a fee of $150. Pretrial conference was set for July 6.

• Cheryl Leblanc entered a guilty plea to first degree disorderly conduct. She was sentenced to 12 days in the county jail with credit given for 12 days served and ordered to pay court costs by July 6.

• James W. Littlefield en­­tered a not guilty plea to violation of part 390 federal safety regulations-general policy, no or expired registration plates, no semi-trailer plate, part 396 federal safety regulations-inspect/repair/maintenance, overwidth and no Kentucky motor fuel user’s license. Pretrial conference was set for July 13.

• Charles C. Lowe entered a guilty plea to two counts of theft by deception including cold checks under $300. He was fined $50 and court costs to be paid by Aug. 31. Restitution was paid.

• Rita Lynch entered a guilty plea to four counts of theft by deception including cold checks under $300. She was fined $100 and court costs to be paid by Aug. 3 She was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail probated for two years on condition she has no other offenses and pays restitution at $100 per month beginning Aug. 31, on each count to run concurrently.

• Kelly D. Martin entered a not guilty plea and was set for a pretrial conference July 13 on failure of owner to maintain required in­­surance or security.

• Dennis E. Olejniczak en­­tered a guilty plea to driving on a DUI suspended license with aggravator, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, possessing license when privileges are revoked or suspended and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with aggravator. He was fined $935, a service fee, ordered to attend an alcohol and drug education program and court costs to be paid at $100 per month beginning Aug. 31. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail on two counts with credit given for five days served on each count to run concurrently for the remaining 25 days. His license was suspended and confiscated for 12 months.

• Mark A. Ortt entered a guilty plea to theft by deception including cold checks under $300. He was fined $25 and court costs to be paid by July 27. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail probated for two years on condition he has no other offenses and pays restitution by Aug. 31. A second charge of theft by deception including cold checks under $300 was dismissed.

• John Potter entered a guilty plea to no or expired registration plates. He was fined $25 and court costs to be paid by July 27, with proof filed.

• Delessia M. Riley entered a guilty plea to disregarding a stop sign. She was fined $20 and court costs to be paid by Aug. 3.

• Connie Jean Sleeper had prosecution deferred to Aug. 31 on condition she has no other offenses on a charge of speeding 13 miles per hour over the limit. She is to pay half of court costs by Aug. 31. A charge of failure to produce an insurance card was dismissed with valid proof filed.

• William R. Strong was fined $25 to be paid by July 20 on failure to wear a seat belt. A charge of failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation was dismissed.

• Susan L. Thatcher enter­ed a guilty plea to speeding 14 miles per hour over the limit, failure to wear a seat belt and failure of own­­er to maintain required insurance or security. She was fined $525 with $400 suspended, ord­ered to attend state traffic school and pay half of court costs by Aug. 31.

• Jimmy D. Wilson entered a guilty plea to alcohol intoxication in a public place. He was fined $25 and court costs to be paid by July 6.

• Justin K. York entered a not guilty plea to first degree criminal abuse. Pretrial conference was set for July 13.

• Johnathan R. Walton waived the 10-20 day time limits and was set for pretrial conference July 6 after being dismissed from drug court.

• Shawn D. Allsbrooks waived the 10-20 day time limits on third degree terroristic threatening and first degree disorderly conduct. He was set for pretrial conference July 13.

• Joshua E. Calhoun was ap­­pointed a public defender at a fee of $150 and set for pretrial conference July 13 on operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Jennifer N. Davis waived the 10-20 day time limits and was set for preliminary hearing July 13 on first degree possession of controlled substance-drug unspecified.

• Daniel Scott Ethridge was set for pretrial conference July 6 on second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

• April D. Ford was set for pretrial conference July 6 on marijuana possession.

• Donna V. Gray was set for pretrial conference Aug. 10 on drug paraphernalia possession, marijuana possession, failure to wear a seat belt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance or security, careless driving and op­­erat­­ing a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Matthew E. Hawkins waived the 10-20 day time limits and was set for preliminary hearing July 13 on first degree methamphetamine possession.

• Robert H. Hogan was continued on two cases. In a separate case, he was set for pretrial conference July 6 on marijuana possession.

• Michael G. Kilgore waived the 10-20 day time limits and was set for pretrial conference July 6 on theft by unlawful taking/disposition-all others over $300.

• Jonathan E. Logsdon en­­tered a guilty plea to violation of Ken­tucky EPO/DVO. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail probated for two years on condition he has no other offenses, no contact with victim and abides by all court orders. He was ordered to pay court costs by July 20.

• Ronnie W. Phillips entered a guilty plea to carrying a concealed weapon, amended from convicted felon in possession of a handgun. He was fined $100 and court costs to be paid by July 27. He was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail probated for two years on condition he has no other offenses and remains gainfully employed.

• Michael Stevens was set for pretrial conference July 20 on pass­ing a loading or unloading school or church bus.

• Ashley N. Varble waived the 10-20 day time limits and was set for preliminary hearing July 6 on theft by unlawful taking/disposition auto over $300, driving on a DUI suspended license and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with aggravator.

• Antonio Webb was set for pretrial conference July 6 on operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs with aggravator and failure of non-owner operator to maintain re­­quired insurance.

• Andrew C. Cooper had paid on one case with community service complete. In a separate case, he was continued for review of community service to July 27.

• Levi Louis Glover was to have the public defender fee collected through the circuit court case.

• Eric V. Morris had fine and court costs converted to 20 days in the county jail with credit given for 20 days served. Restitution is still owed and bench warrant is to remain as a hold.

• Leaston M. Beasley had a preliminary hearing held on two counts of second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. Probable cause was found and the case sent to the grand jury.

• Julie C. Flynn had a preliminary hearing held on trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces and drug paraphernalia possession. Probable cause was found and the case sent to the grand jury.

• Avery M. Matthews had a preliminary hearing held on second degree burglary. Probable cause was found and the case sent to the grand jury.

• Jamar M. McGowan had a preliminary hearing held on second degree burglary. Probable cause was found and the case sent to the grand jury.

• Alicia N. Shearer had a preliminary hearing held on trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces and drug paraphernalia possession. Probable cause was found and the case sent to the grand jury.

• Joshua C. Snow admitted probable cause for a charge of reckless driving and the case was dismissed without prejudice.
