Four league champions have already been decided, but the chase is still on in two other leagues as Youth Inc. winds down its summer baseball and softball action this week.

The tightest race belongs to Bambino Major, which entered play Tuesday night with all three teams within a single game of each other.

The Orioles (5-4) held a half-game lead over the Cardinals and a full-game advantage over the Braves, who rallied back into contention after a slow start.

Meanwhile, Little Lassie still had not determined its champion through Monday night’s contests.

The Lady Cats (7-3) held a one-game lead on the Lady Tigers with each team having two games remaining.

Elsewhere, two league champions are looking to finish off undefeated seasons.

In Junior Babe Ruth, the Braves (10-0) held a five-game lead over the second-place Cardinals through Monday’s game.

In Pre-Bambino, the Red Sox (10-0) have also built a five-game lead over the Cardinals.

The Tigers have won the Bambino Minor League title with a 9-1 record through better than the Sport Sox with just two games remaining.

In Lassie Minor, the White Sox (8-3) hold a two-game advantage over both the Bombers and the Sandlot Sluggers with each team having just one league game to play.

All of the leagues are scheduled to be concluded by the end of play Friday night.
