Jimmie Ethridge, 73, of Princeton, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at 4:15 p.m. at his home, following a long illness.
A retired security guard and member of Highland Baptist Church in Princeton, he was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Caldwell County, a son of the late Winfred Jewell and Mary Jane Stone Ethridge.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret (Margie) Earline Lambert Ethridge; a son Keith Ethridge of Princeton; three grandchildren, Scott Ethridge, Brian Ethridge and Chelsea Ethridge; a great-grandchild, Jaxson Ethridge; and three sisters-in-law, Mildred Bell, Maggie Cummins and Jean Lee, all of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 3, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Bobby Dean Cotton officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday.
