He was a member of Life in Christ Church.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa Jenkins; two sons, David Jenkins Jr. of Pittston, Penn., and Jimmy Jenkins of Asheville, N.C.; a daughter, Melissa Nolan of Asheville, N.C.; six grandchildren; four brothers, Richard “Punky” Jenkins, Butch Jenkins and Mike Jenkins, all of Vista, Calif., and Dennis Jenkins of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and five sisters, Patty Jenkins, Carol Jenkins, Sally Jenkins, Nancy Jenkins and Gale Jenkins.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, June 12, at 11 a.m. at Crowell Cemetery.
