John Stroube, 92, of Princeton, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Princeton Health Care Manor.
A retired truck driver and member of Southside Baptist Church, he was born June 5, 1912, in Christian County, a son of the late John Pettus Stroube and Mary Lou Kenner Stroube.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Della Gladys Simpson Stroube; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, John Stroube of Bowling Green; a daughter, Sue Tipton of Princeton; four grandchildren, John Dale Tipton, David Lloyd Stroube, Susan Elaine Nally and Bradley Carter Stroube; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan Stroube and Grace Ann Nally.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 13, at 1:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Ronnie Sivells will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
