Leslye Tinsley, 58, of Cadiz, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at 12:55 p.m. at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville, of a sudden apparent heart attack.
A gas company truck driver, who formerly worked for Fortner L.P. Gas Co., an Army veteran and member of Spillman Chapel C.M.E. Church, he was born Aug. 3, 1945, in Caldwell County, a son of Naomi Wyatt Tinsley of Princeton and the late Coleman Tinsley.
He was preceded in death by a son, Marlon Leslye Harbin.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Gladys Bingham Tinsley; four sons, Leslye Tinsley Jr. and Dana Tinsley, both of Indianapolis, Ind., Jeffery Henry of Chicago, Ill., and Donnie Henry of Bowling Green; two daughters, Yvonne Jones and Pauletta Roach, both of Cadiz; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Grooms of Princeton; and a sister, Nell Rose Clayton of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 18, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
The Rev. Timothy Humphries will officiate the service.
Military graveside services will follow at Larkins Cemetery in Trigg County.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
