Nov. 16…NATIONAL FAMILY LITERACY DAY BOOK DRIVE by the General John Caldwell Chapter of the NSDAR, will continue through Nov. 16. Books may be dropped off at the Glenn Martin Genealogy Library from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The chapter will accept books for children through adult.

Nov. 18… FREDONIA LIONS CLUB TELETHON BREAKFAST will be held from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. in the club building behind Fredonia City Hall. All you can eat. Donations will be accepted.

Nov. 19… LEAF AND LIMB PICKUP will begin in the City of Princeton. Residents are asked to have their debris at the curb by Nov. 19. Pickup will take place for about two weeks.

Nov. 30… The ANNUAL COOKIE WALK sponsored by the Caldwell County Free Clinic will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center Building. The walk will continue Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
