William Kenneth Wheel­er

William Kenneth Wheel­er, 89, of Kuttawa, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, at River’s Bend Retirement Community.

A son of the late Lark and Ora Lee Boswell Wheeler, he was a retired steel mill worker with Inland Steel, was a United States Marine veteran and a member of Suwanee Funace Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loetta Campbell Wheeler; five sisters; and five brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Kay Smith and husband Bob of Avon, Ind., and Linda Wyatt and husband David of Buffalo, Ind.; one son, William Dwight Wheeler and Diane Lamont of Glendale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Mexico Cemetery in Crittenden County.

Lakeland Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
