July 21, at 1:09 a.m., Deputy Evan Head, while on patrol, observed a vehicle speeding in Fredonia. He conducted a traffic stop and found out the driver, Vontrae Lewis, 27, of Hopkinsville, had two warrants out of Christian County. Head charged Lewis with speeding over 26 mph over the limit, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He also served and arrested Lewis on the two Christian County district court warrants for failure to pay bond on a charge of trafficking marijuana, less than eight ounces, first offense; and failure to pay bond on fleeing or evading police, second degree, in a motor vehicle. Lewis was taken to the Caldwell County jail.
July 21, at 8:13 p.m., Deputy Jeremy Kolba served and arrested Ginger Jones, 45, of Princeton, on a McCracken County district court warrant. Jones was served on failure to appear for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and operating on a suspended license. Jones was first taken to Caldwell Medical Center, then to the Caldwell County jail.
