Oct. 8, at 1:24 p.m., Deputy Chad Hawkins served and arrested Robert Cooper, 57, of Princeton, on a Livingston County District Court warrant. Cooper was served on failure to appear and was lodged in the Caldwell County jail.
Oct. 10, at 9:26 p.m., Caldwell County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Old Wilson Warehouse Road in reference to an intoxicated subject breaking windows out of vehicles. Upon arriving at the scene, following an investigation, Head arrested Witney Cotton, 27, of Marion, with alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense, and resisting arrest. Cotton was lodged in the Caldwell County jail. Deputy Head was assisted on scene by Deputy Chad Hawkins.
Oct. 10, at 11:18 p.m., while on patrol, Deputy Josh Travis observed a vehicle traveling on 6415 and had knowledge of active warrants. Travis attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to stop. Following a short pursuit, with assistance from the Lyon County sheriff’s office, a tire deflation device was deployed and the vehicle came to a stop. Travis charged and arrested Jason McGregor, 28, of Princeton, with speeding 25 miles per hour over the limit, first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, first-degree wanton endangerment — police officer, reckless driving and operating on a suspended or revoked driver’s license. Hawkins also served McGregor with two Caldwell County Circuit Court warrants and three Caldwell County District Court warrants. McGregor was transported by Lyon County sheriff’s department to the Crittenden County jail.
