• On Sept. 5, at 4:35 p.m., Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeremiah Kolba served and arrested David Sheffield, 57, of Warsaw, Ind., on a Henderson County District Court warrant for probation violation for misdemeanor offense. Sheffield was lodged in the Caldwell County jail.

• On Sept. 7, at 4:36 p.m., Caldwell County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 91/KY 128 mile marker 6.7 in reference to a semi accident completely blocking the roadway. Upon arriving at the scene and conducting further investigation, Deputy Jeremy Kolba determined Thomas Vickery, 53, of Princeton, was enroute for ILG International Logistics Group hauling flour on 128 when the tractor trailer’s wheels dropped off the the roadway, hitting a concrete culvert causing the axles on the trailer to break. The sherrif’s department was assisted on scene by Stinnett Towing, Emergency Management and the State Highway Department.
