The Caldwell County Retired Teachers Association understands students are best ready to learn when they have the basic tools they need. As students return to the classroom, CCRTA has worked with the Family Resource and Youth Service Centers, known as HOPE and COPE locally, to provide school supplies as needed.

“We are proud to support students through our donation to help purchase supplies, “ CCRTA President Ginnie Oldham said. “The KRTA/AARP-KY School Supply Drive program provides a matching grant of $50, so this year CCRTA was able to donate $100 to this effort for our local student body.”

Accepting the donation was Stephanie Randall, COPE, and Theresa Ray, HOPE. All retired teachers who live in Caldwell County or taught in Caldwell Count are eligible to become members of CCRTA. For more information, visit
