Four defendants entered a guilty plea in Caldwell County Circuit Court on Tuesday, July 7, before Judge C.A. Woodall III.

• Juanita Gail Dukes entered a guilty plea and was set for sentencing Aug. 4 on complicity to first degree possession of methamphetamine, complicity to possession of marijuana, complicity to drug paraphernalia, buy/possess, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security and careless driving.

• Amy L. Adams entered a guilty plea to fraudulent use of a credit card under $500 within six months, amended from complicity to fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000. She was sentenced to 12 months probated for three years.

• Thomas F. Milstead entered a guilty plea in two cases and was set for sentencing Aug. 4 on driving on a DUI suspended license with aggravator, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, and driving a motor vehicle while license was suspended for DUI.

• Christina L. Riggs entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to three years, probated for five years, on second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft of identity of another without consent. A charge of second degree persistent felony offender was dismissed.

• Cynthia D. Pentecost was sentenced to a total of three years in two cases on two counts of first degree possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, buy/possess, no/expired registration plates, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, first degree possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, buy/possess.

• Joshua Michael Boaz was sentenced to a total of three years on second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft of identity of another without consent.

• Richard Timothy Faulconer was issued a bench warrant with a $2,500 bond and set for arraignment Aug. 4 on driving a motor vehicle while license was suspended, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security.

• Jonathan Harper was issued a bench warrant for failure to appear with no bond on first degree trafficking in methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia, buy/possess.

• Michael B. Hinman was issued a bench warrant for failure to appear with a $2,500 cash bond on first degree possession of methamphetamine. Arraignment was set for Aug. 4.
