Five Defendants entered a guilty plea in Caldwell County Circuit Court on Tuesday, June 6, before Judge C.A. Woodall III.

Guilty pleas

• Mark Steven Poling entered a guilty plea and was set for sentencing Aug. 3 on a charge of third degree burglary.

• Bryce David Colling entered a guilty plea and had deferred sentencing granted on two counts of first degree wanton endangerment.

• Chelsey Diane Young entered a guilty plea and was granted deferred sentencing on two counts of first degree wanton endangerment.

• Paul G. Lee entered a guilty plea, waived PSI and was sentenced to three years on first degree possession of methamphetamine, 12 months on drug paraphernalia, buy/possess, 45 days on possession of marijuana, and four years on third degree burglary, amended from second degree.

• Samuel Evan Long entered a guilty plea and was set for sentencing Aug. 3 on fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000, and theft-receipt of stolen credit/debit card.

• Binnie Young Bryant Jr. was continued for arraignment to Aug. 3 on public intoxication on a controlled substance excluding alcohol, enhancement of possession of marijuana, and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

• Brian Heath McClain was issued a bench warrant for failure to appear with no bond, and was set for a pretrial conference Aug. 3 on theft by unlawful taking/disposition shoplifting $500 or more but under $10,000.

• John M. Oliver was issued a bench warrant with no bond and was set for a pretrial conference Aug. 3 on first degree possession of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia, buy/possess.

• Tyler J. Long was set for a trial Feb. 2, 2022, on first degree trafficking in methamphetamine, and failure to notify address change to the Department of Transportation. In a separate case, he was set for a pretrial conference Sept. 7 on complicity to first degree trafficking in methamphetamine.

• Lelsie Todd Emry was set for a trial Feb. 17, 2022, and a pretrial conference Jan. 4, 2022, on first degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, two counts of first degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, reckless driving, and first degree complicity to trafficking in methamphetamine.

• Shane D.
