Princeton City Clerk Julie Key has been recognized by the Kentucky League of Cities with its Level II award for Excellence in City Governance.

The award is part of the KLC City Officials Training Center, a voluntary education program. City officials can complete education levels by attending KLC events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training.

“A variety of training is provided through the COTC program to equip our local leaders throughout Kentucky to serve their cities. The presentation of these awards is proof of the dedication and service provided by city officials like Ms. Key,” said KLC Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney.

The Level II Excellence in City Governance award requires a city official to attend 60 hours of approved training with two hours of ethics training.
