EDDYVILLE- Ethel Ramey Faulkner, age 88, of Eddyville, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa. She was a homemaker, a member of Eddyville First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and traveling.

She is survived by one daughter, Patti (Steve) Simmons, Bowling Green; four sons, Dennis (Bonnie) Faulkner, Eddyville, Ronnie (Vicki) Faulkner, Eddyville, Donnie (Mitzi) Faulkner, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Danny (Jochelle) Faulkner, Eddyville; two sisters, Linda Williamson, Princeton, and Ann (Bill) Dunning, Eddyville; two brothers, Tony (Vickie) Ramey, Tampa, Florida, and H.C. Beck, Princeton; one sister-in-law, Shirley Ramey, Texas; nine grandchildren, Wendy (Sean) Manchanda, Corey (Lily) Faulkner, Micheal (Renee) Faulkner, Michella Hensley, Lauren (Drew) Coomer, Danielle Faulkner, Kelsey (Tyler) Martin, Stephanie (Matt) Ernsting and Brad Simmons; fifteen great grandchildren, Aaron Cannon, Jake Cannon, Cole Cannon, Ramey Manchanda, Mae Faulkner, Jae Faulkner, Noah Faulkner, Nate Faulkner, Lydia Hensley, Aidan Hensley, Isaac Coomer, Alex Coomer, Asher Martin, Alexander Ernsting and William Ernsting; four great-great grandchildren, Myranna Cannon, Aryanna Cannon, Henley Cannon and Lainey Cannon and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Faulkner, her parents, Clinton and Thelma Holloway Ramey, her paternal grandparents, A.C. and Mildred Ramey, her maternal grandparents, Richard and Virgie Holloway, two sisters, Virginia Belle Glass and Mary Smith, two brothers, A.C. Ramey and Hale Ramey; one grandson, Derek Faulkner and one great granddaughter, Eva Hensley.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, from noon until 2 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Tim Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
