In light of the guidelines set forth by Gov. Andy Beshear on Wednesday, stating there will be no in-person school due to the pandemic, Jim Seibert, mayor of Fredonia, would like to remind the community the city is offering a free Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Wi-Fi hotspot is located in the meeting room at City Hall in Fredonia, with operational hours from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, there will only be four people allowed in the meeting room at a time. Should more than four students need Wi-Fi, Fredonia First Baptist has offered the use of a room at the old Fredonia School.

Masks are required at all times and the meeting room will be sanitized frequently.

For further information, contact the city clerk at 270-545-3925.
