The Caldwell County Grand Jury met July 10, 2020, and returned two felony indictments, and one no true bill.

Jury action included

• Letarion T. Guess, 29, of Evansville, Ind., was indicted on fleeing or evading police, first degree, fleeing or evading police, second degree, possession of marijuana, DUI, first offense, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. Charges of reckless driving, failure to signal and disregarding a stop sign were no true billed and those charges were dismissed. Charges stem from a May 9 incident.

• Thomas Quentin Towery, 30, of Dawson Springs, was indicted on wanton endangerment, first degree, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, assault, fourth degree, unlawful imprisonment, first degree, and persistent felony offender, first degree. Charges stem from a May 22 incident.

The cases regarding the following iwere continued until the next session of the Grand Jury: Alfred Amara Jr., Janice Harris and Bruce McGillem.
