The Kentucky State Police has announced that a Caldwell County man is facing felony charges in connection to an alleged knife assault earlier this week.
Trever L. Tucker, 33, of Dawson Springs, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault first-degree, domestic violence, according to a Wednesday, Jan. 11 news release. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
According to a news release, KSP Post 2 received a call at around 10:03 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office asking state police to assist deputies with a domestic dispute on H Haile Road in Dawson Springs.
State police said that, upon arrival, troopers located two women who had injuries from being assaulted. Tucker was also on the scene, according to the news release. In addition, state police said one woman was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Hospital in Hopkinsville and the other woman was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Both women had been injured with a knife, state police said.
