In total, 51 cars cruised into the First Baptist Church parking lot for the Summer Slam car show.

"It's a big success for the starting of this," Harrell Riley of HR Ministries said. "Next year this will be more and we're glad Bobby Goodwin took ahold of that."

The car show raised funds for Operation Christmas Child; the $500 in donations collected will go towards the Shoe Box Charity for Children.
