Kentucky Agriculture Training School (KATS) was held at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center (UKREC), located at 1205 Hopkinsville St. in Princeton on Aug. 22.

Topics included updates on corn and soybean disease management; combine adjustments and operation to reduce harvest loss; fundamentals of setting a combine; and forages as a cover crop.

The next KATS training day is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, at the UKREC at Princeton. Topics will include insects in storage, cover crops and soil fertility and transitioning from production to post-harvest management.
