Princeton Police Department
Officers responded to a theft complaint at Walmart. Loss Protection employees told officers another employee had admitted to taking money from the store. Boone C Chambers, 33, of Princeton, allegedly loaded money onto gift cards fraudulently over a period of 6 weeks. He was cited to appear in court on a charge of TBUT U/$500.
5:55 p.m. -- Officers responded to a complaint from residents who told officers that James D Tucker, 52, of Princeton, was harassing them. Officers located Tucker and cited him to appear in court on a charge of Menacing.
6:19 a.m. -- Officers arrested Eric L Poe, 30, of Princeton, on a Livingston County bench warrant charging him with Failure to Appear.
2:19 p.m. -- Officers responded to a domestic assault complaint. Officers cited Lynda R Goodwin, 56, of Princeton, and Katie L Stokes, 34, of Cerulean, to appear in court on a charge of Assault 4th Degree.
4:02 p.m. -- Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. Officers cited Patricia M Johnson, 30, of Dawson Springs, to appear in court on a charge of TBUT U/$500.
5:16 p.m. -- Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Leech Street. Officers located paraphernalia and methamphetamine during a search of the vehicle. Officers arrested Amanda M Kennedy, 32, of Kuttawa, charging her with Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
7:24 p.m. -- Officers arrested Shannon G. Burton, 35, of Princeton, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging her with Contempt of Court.
10:28 p.m. -- Officers responded to a complaint at McDonald's. When officers arrived they located Deanna S. Riley, 48, of Princeton, in the parking lot. Riley told officers that someone was under her vehicle. Officers were unable to locate anyone and determined that Riley was under the influence of intoxicants. She was arrested and charged with DUI 1st Offense and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
3:37 p.m. -- Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. Officers cited Jennifer A McVay, 25, of Princeton, to a appear in court on a charge of TBUT U/$500.
7:38 p.m. -- Officers arrested Janice D Harris, 31, of Princeton, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging her with Probation Violation (Felony). When officers attempted to place her in handcuffs she resisted. She was subsequently charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree.
12:08 p.m. -- Officers responded to a complaint of a Ruler Foods tractor trailer damaging phone lines on Baldwin Avenue. Officers located the truck at Ruler Foods on 62 West. The driver, Justin A Prewitt, 23, of Tamms, Illinois, was cited to appear in court on charges of Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, and Disregarding Traffic Regulation 1st Offense.
2:02 a.m. -- Officers responded to a complaint of a female being cut with a knife. When officers arrived they found the victim inside the residence. The victim had a large laceration to her neck. She told officers that she and Henry W. Cotton, 55, of Princeton, were in an argument that escalated and he cut her with a knife. She also told officers that Cotton had taken her pistol pointed at her and fled the scene. The victim was taken to Caldwell County ER and later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical with non-life-threatening injuries. Cotton was located at the Stratton Inn and taken into custody at 2:54 AM. He was charged with Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, TBUT Firearm, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Possession of a Handgun by Convicted Felon.
9:00 a.m. -- Officers served a Lyon County warrant at the jail to Teri L Bell, 47, of Dycusburg, charging her with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st Degree (6 counts).
3:13 p.m. -- Officers arrested Karen S. Hanna, 56, of Princeton, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging her with Failure to Appear.
6:16 p.m. -- Officers responded to a single vehicle injury collision on Dawson Springs Road. Steven L Howell, 40, of Dawson Springs, told officers he was operating a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a strong storm winds caused him to lose control. He was transported to Lourdes by Caldwell County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers were assisted by Princeton Fire.

3:04 p.m. -- Deputy Keith Suits arrested Jason Lee Bowles, 45, of Princeton, on a Caldwell District Court warrant. Bowles was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
