Dec. 17:

8:14 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury collision on Sandlick Road involving a volunteer fireman. Investigation revealed Austin G. Cooper was westbound on Sandlick Road responding to an emergency call in a 2014 GMC pickup with lights and siren activated when a 2014 Chevrolet Impala driven by Patrick B. Baker, 30, backed out of a driveway into Cooper's lane of travel. Cooper was not able to avoid the collision and left the right side of the roadway. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Dec. 19:

3:21 a.m. Officers arrested Brenda V. Green, 48, on a Daviess County warrant charging her with theft by deception.

6:15 a.m. Officers arrested Leaston M. Beasley, 29, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging him with probation violation (felony offense).

1:55 p.m. Officers served a Caldwell County bench warrant at the jail to Whitney M. Thatcher, 24, charging her with probation violation (felony offense).

Dec. 20:

6:14 a.m. Officers served a Livingston County bench warrant at the jail to Linda A. Hubbard, 38, charging her with contempt of court.

12:05 p.m. Officers served a Lyon County bench warrant at the jail to Colin J. Brasher, 24, charging him with probation violation (felony offense).

Dec. 23:

9:59 a.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle injury collision in the 200 block of West Main Street. Investigation revealed Shirley A. Crowell, 81, was eastbound on West Main in a 2000 Mercury. Crowell failed to see delivery truck stopped in the roadway. Crowell's vehicle struck the delivery truck causing damage to both vehicles. Crowell was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center by Caldwell County EMS for treatment of minor injuries.

5:40 p.m. Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. Officers cited Tammy A. Riley, 50, and Haley A Riley, 26, to appear in court on a charge of TBUT U/$500. Haley Riley was also charged with drug paraphernalia buy/possess and possession of a controlled substance, second degree.

Dec. 25:

3:05 p.m. Officers responded to a complaint on Beverly Lane. The complainant told officers Danny J. Morgan, 64, was chasing children and threatening them. Officers determined that Morgan was under the influence of intoxicants. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and menacing.

3:59 p.m. Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 200 block of South Jefferson. Officers arrested the driver Richard .T Faulconer, 33, charging him with driving on a DUI suspended license, third offense, and no insurance, first offense.

Dec. 26:

4:00 a.m. Officers responded to a complaint of two children in the parking lot at Walmart. Investigation revealed that the 6- and 8-year-olds had left their residence on West Green Street at approximately 8 p.m. on Dec. 25 and walked to Walmart. When officers took the children back to the residence the parents Timothy J. Daniel, 27, and Hannah E. Lynch, 26, did not know they were gone. Daniel and Lynch were cited to appear in court on charges of wanton endangerment, first degree. Social Services were notified to investigate also.

Dec. 23:

At 4:02 p.m., Deputy Keith Suits was dispatched to Marion Road in reference to a single-vehicle rollover collision with possible injuries. Upon arriving at the scene and further investigation, Deputy Suits aided in transporting Cody James, 35, to Caldwell County ER for treatment. Upon arrival, Mr. James refused treatment and gave consent for a legal blood draw. Mr. James was then charged and arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs, first offense. Mr. James was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.

Dec. 26:

At 4:28 p.m., Deputy Richard Cobb arrested and transported Misty Lee, 32 to the Caldwell County Jail on a Caldwell County Circuit Court warrant for probation violation of a felony offense.

At 11:43 p.m., Deputy Kenneth Vincent conducted a traffic stop on I24. Upon further investigation Deputy Vincent arrested the passenger Kenneth Arthur, 30, for possession of controlled substance, first degree, first offense methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Arthur was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
