Local pastor named to committee

Justin Ramey of Eddyville was named to the Committee on Constitution and Bylaws on Nov. 12 at the annual meeting of the Kentucky Baptist Convention in Lexington.

He is the pastor at Crider Baptist Church in Princeton.

Three churches in the Caldwell-Lyon Baptist Association were recognized in the top 100 in the state in baptisms during the meeting.

In total baptisms, Princeton First Baptist was 84th in the state with 23 people being baptized.

In the top 100 in per capita baptisms, Highland was 34th in the state, recording 18 baptisms while having an average weekly primary worship attendance of 65.

Fairview was 52nd with 14 baptisms while having an average weekly primary worship attendance of 65.
