The Friends of Land Between the Lakes invites you to bring the family to Woodlands Nature Station during the Labor Day Weekend for the Outdoor Kids' Fest, a kid-friendly foray into some basic but important outdoor skills.

From learning about venomous animals to practicing your fishing skills, we'll learn some new ways to enjoy the outdoors,10 am - 4:30 pm on Saturday, Aug. 31, Sunday, Sept. 1 and Monday, Aug. 2, at the Woodlands Nature Station inside Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, 3146 Silver Trail Road in Cadiz. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 5-12 and free for ages 4 and under.
