A Princeton woman is facing multiple drug-related charges following a routine traffic stop earlier this week.
According to a news release from Princeton Police, Kelly J. Rogers, 38, was stopped on Harvey Lane just after 11 p.m. Monday for having only one headlight. When officers approached the vehicle, according to the police department, they detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
A search produced suspected marijuana, approximately 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and $1,600 in cash, police reported.
Rogers was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, greater to or equal to 2 grams), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving a motor vehicle with one headlight.
