The Princeton Police Department reported the following activity:

July 23

• At 8:55 a.m., officers arrested Kevin W Milan, 38, Hillview Court, on a Caldwell County warrant charging him with harassing communications. The charge stems from an investigation on July 22, 2020, where Milan was sending the victim harassing messages via Internet.

• At 5:39 p.m., officers arrested Jimmy D Gray, 47, of Princeton on two Caldwell County bench warrants charging him with contempt of court and failure to appear.

• At 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a theft complaint at the Legion ballpark complex parking lot. Further information revealed three vehicles had windows broken and items taken from inside. If anyone has information about this crime, call police at (270)365-2041 or (270)365-4657.

• At 9:54 p.m., officers arrested Lestarzan L Redd, 35, Cardinal Lane, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging him with contempt of court.

July 24

At 1:12 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Dawson Road for a complaint of a stolen vehicle. Officers were told by the reporting party that the vehicle was parked in the yard and that they heard the vehicle start and observed it being driven away. A Caldwell County deputy observed a vehicle matching the description given and was able to stop the vehicle for city officers. Investigation revealed that James R. Felkins, 29, of Princeton had taken the vehicle without permission from the owner. Felkins was taken into custody and charged with theft by unlawful taking — auto, no registration plates, no insurance, and expired operator’s license.

July 25

At 7:23 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Varmintrace Road for a driver who had a known suspended license. The driver did not stop for several streets. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped on Cherry Street. Officers made contact with Anthony S. Resonno, 44, of Princeton. He was taken into custody and charged with operating on a suspended license and fleeing and evading police, 2nd degree.

At 8:53 p.m., officers observed a male and a female arguing near the intersection of West Main Street and Cave Street. Officers made contact with Rueben Martinez, 59, of Princeton and Jennifer J. McGregor, 48, of Princeton and determined that they were under the influence of intoxicants. Martinez and McGregor were taken into custody and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.
