The Princeton Police Department released the following activity report.

• On Feb. 9, at 12:41 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Varmintrace Road for expired registration plates. Officers made contact with Kyle A. Laffoon, 24, of Princeton, and determined that he was under the influence of intoxicants. Further investigation revealed that he was in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. Laffoon was arrested and charged with expired plates, no insurance, DUI, first offense, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance, first degree, second offense — methamphetamine, and frug paraphernalia.

• On Feb. 9, at 3:45 p.m., officers arrested McKenzie B. Greene, 29, of Princeton, on a Caldwell County arrest warrant charging her with no insurance.

• On Feb. 10, at 8:40 a.m., officers served a Caldwell County indictment warrant at the jail to Dennis F. Cummings, 60, of Princeton, charging him with arson, first degree, resisting arrest, assault, fourth degree — domestic violence, violation of a KY emergency protective order, and persistent felony offender.

• On Feb. 10, at 8:50 a.m., officers served a Caldwell County indictment warrant at the jail to Leslie T. Emry, 59, of Hopkinsville charging him with fleeing or evading police, first degree, wanton endangerment, first degree — police officer, reckless driving, and trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, second offense — methamphetamine.

• On Feb. 10, at 8:58 a.m., officers served a Caldwell County indictment warrant at the jail to Jay L. Paris, 67, of Princeton charging him with sodomy, first degree, attempted sodomy, first degree, and sexual abuse, first degree — victim under 12 years of age.

• On Feb. 10, at 9:30 a.m., officers served a Caldwell County indictment warrant at the jail to Jimmie R. Hayes, 56, of Fredonia, charging him with trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree, first offense — methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and possession of a handgun by convicted felon.

• On Feb. 10, at 3:17 p.m., officers responded to a two vehicle collision with injuries at the Intersection of U.S. 62 West and the entrance to Tree House Foods. Investigation revealed that a gray 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by Billy M. Jewell, 43, of Princeton was turning left onto 62 West from the Tree House Foods entrance when he struck a green 2006 Lexus 300 traveling west on U.S. 62. The Lexus was struck in the driver side and was driven by Richard N. Thompson, 31, of Princeton. Thompson was transported to Caldwell County Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

• On Feb. 11, at 1:19 p.m., officers served a Caldwell County bench warrant at the jail to Bryce A. Vilt, 30, of Princeton, charging him with a probation violation for a felony offense.

• On Feb. 11, at 2:26 p.m., officers served a Christian County bench warrant at the jail to James D. Johnson, 28, of Hopkinsville, charging him with contempt of court.

• On Feb. 11, at 3:53 p.m., officers arrested Richard G. Nelson, 40, of Princeton, on a Kentucky parole violation warrant charging him with a parole violation.
