The Princeton Police Department reported the following activity.

• On Dec. 20, at 5:02 a.m., officers responded with Princeton Fire Department to a structure fire in the 400 block of White Street. Preliminary investigation at the scene revealed indicators of arson at two separate residences of 404 and 406 White Street. Officers were assisted at the scene by KSP Arson Investigators. • On Dec. 27, at 4:29 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of Dawson Road in reference to a vehicle that struck a pedestrian. Investigation revealed that Sierra A. Spalding, 13, of Princeton, was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a white 2014 Chrysler 200 that was traveling west on Dawson Road in a 45 mph zone. The Chrysler was driven by Deontaye B. Walls, 18, of Fredonia. The child was treated on scene and was later flown from the scene by Air-Evac to Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Ind., for injuries. The investigation is on-going. Officers were assisted by Caldwell County EMS, Princeton Fire Department, and the Princeton Police Department accident reconstruction officer.
