Paula Davis, of Marion, while attempting to park in a parking space in front of the Caldwell County Clerk’s office, 105 W. Court Square, jumped the curb and collided with the building Monday, Jan. 18, causing extensive damage.

Princeton Police reported the following activity:

• Jan. 12, at 4:33 p.m., officers arrested Gene Hettich, 57, of Yakima, Washington, on a Boyd County bench earrant charging him with failure to appear.

• Jan. 17, at 7:06 p.m., officers arrested Steven J. Downs, 36, of Princeton, on a Daviess County bench warrant charging him with failure to appear.

• Jan. 18, at 3:19 p.m., officers were notified by Paula Davis, 76, of Marion, that she was involved with a collision with a building around the court house square. Officers arrived and investigation revealed that Davis was driving a white 2016 Toyota Camry and was attempting to park in a parking space in front of the Caldwell County Clerk’s Office located at 105 West Court Square. The vehicle jumped the curb and collided with the building causing serious damage to the building. The Clerk’s Office and the Princeton Fire Department were notified to check the building for safety and security.
