• On Dec. 29, at 11:01 a.m., officers served a Christian County bench warrant at the jail to Billy D. Waynick, 45, of Princeton, charging him with a probation violation on a felony offense, according to police.
• On Dec. 31, at 7:53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible motor vehicle crash on Marion Road. Police said officers made contact with Anthony D. Milby, 65, of Stafford, Virginia, who had pulled off on the side of the road. Police said Milby was arrested and charged with DUI first offense, possession of controlled substance first-degree, first offense (meth) and drug paraphernalia.
• On Jan. 1, at 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a complaint of an attempted breaking and entering at a residence near the 100 block of Linton Way. Police said that at 12:37 a.m., officers responded to another complaint of a burglary at a residence near the 800 block of West Locust Street.
According to police, the resident on Linton Way reported that someone tried to enter the residence through a window and the front door, but was unsuccessful. The resident on West Locust told officers he woke up and observed a man in his residence and the man ran away on foot. Investigation led officers to a residence near the 100 block of Linton Way. Police said Joshua Pavey, 31, of Princeton, was later taken into custody and charged with attempted burglary, second-degree and burglary, second-degree.
• On Jan. 1, at 1:16 a.m., officers arrested Savannah Wittmer, 31, of Princeton, on three Lyon County bench warrants and one Daviess County bench warrant, according to police. Police said Wittmer was charged with a probation violation, a drug court violation and contempt of court on the Lyon County warrants, and that she was charged with failure to appear on the Daviess County warrant.
• On Jan. 2, at 5:26 a.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle collision that was in a ditch near the intersection of Good Street and West Washington. Police said officers made contact with Ricky A. Camplin, 19, of Dawson Springs, and that investigation revealed Camplin was driving a black 2013 Ford Fusion behind the old sock factory when he drove into a ditch. Police said Camplin was taken into custody and charged with DUI first offense.
• On Jan. 4, at 3:02 p.m., officers arrested Forrest L. Burton, 45, of Princeton, on a Caldwell County bench warrant charging him with failure to pay child support, according to police.
