Sept. 17, at 4:19 p.m.,officers responded to the 1000 block of Colonial Court for a man waving a firearm in the middle of the street. Officers made contact with Bobby T. Thomas, 56, of Princeton, and determined he was under the influence of intoxicants and was found to be holding a handgun. Thomas was taken into custody and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and second-degree disorderly conduct.

Sept. 18, at 4:07 p.m., officers responded to the American Inn for an intoxicated man who was causing a disturbance. Officers made contact with a man who gave officers a false name. Officers determined he was under the influence of intoxicants and took him into custody charging him with alcohol intoxication in a public place. Further Investigation revealed the man was Ryan A. Barnes, 24, of Macclenny, Florida, who had a non-extraditable warrant out of Florida. Barnes was also charged with theft of identity of another without consent.

Sept. 20, at 9:01 p.m., officers arrested Jocelyn E. Gresham, 45, of Princeton, on a Hopkins County bench warrant charging her with failure to appear.

Sept. 21, at 5:50 a.m., officers responded to a trespassing complaint at Precision Body Works. Officers made contact with the described vehicle at the business and the driver ran from the vehicle ignoring commands to stop by officers. Officers made contact with the passenger, Shannon M. Pruit, 43, of Princeton, and detected an odor of marijuana in the vehicle. Pruit was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, and drug paraphernalia. Investigation for the driver who ran from officers is on-going.

Sept. 21, at 8:44 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of South Jefferson Street for a suspicious person complaint. Contact was made with William J. Neill, 43, of Princeton, on the property of the caller. Neill was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe and methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense, and drug paraphernalia.

Sept. 21, at 12:35 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence near the 100 block of Ratliff Street. Contact was made with Tara D. Escobar, 43, of Princeton. Investigation revealed physical contact had occurred. Escobar was issued a citation for harassment, physical contact.

Sept. 21, at 12:59 p.m., officers responded to Food Giant for a shoplifting complaint. Investigation revealed Tanya L. Gray, 57, of Princeton, had entered the store, concealed an item, and left the store without paying for the merchandise. Gray was located at her residence and issued a citation for shoplifting under $500.
