Albert Newberry, 73, of Fredonia, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021. He was a tire changer for Uniroyal Tire and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Newberry; daughter, Sandra Lynn Newberry of Princeton; son, Albert Edward Newberry and wife Jessica Ann Davis Newberry of Princeton; sisters, JoAnn Johnson and Margaret Ladd of Dawson Springs; brothers, Sammy Newberry, Andy Newberry, Bobby Joe Newberry, and Charlie Newberry
all of Dawson Springs, and Billy Newberry of Caldwell County; grandchildren, Ashley Newberry Coleman, Ryan James Newberry, Jaden LaShea Newberry, Jazlyn LeeAnn Newberry, Michael Cruzen, Kendra Sargent, Katie Gibson and Faith Tabor; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Andrew and Irene Welch Hunter Newberry; sister, Liz Holeman, Gloria Skimmerhorn, Velma Cummins, Francis Peters; and brothers, Raymond Newberry and James Newberry.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Asher Cemetery with Mike Davis officiating.
