Barbara “Bobby” Mitchell, 85, of Calvert City, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020, at her home.
A daughter of the late Joseph B. Jones and Estelle Colleen Redd Jones, she was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, and had worked at Arvin, Grinnell and Willow Pond.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Luther “T.O.” Mitchell; her second husband, Albert “Phil” P. Mitchell; and two sisters, Dorothy Nichols and Wanda Barnett.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Roger A. and Dee Mitchell of Freodnia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Eva and Ken Olson of Valparaiso, Ind., and Sherri A. and Jeff Gilbert of Calvert City; eight grandchildren, Lori Winters, Chad Baker, Clint Baker, Vince Mitchell, Patrick Mitchell, Danielle Brock, Micki Brunton and Sophia Brunton; 20 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Dunn of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Ronnie Fox and the Rev. Rex Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the service time Saturday, Jan. 25, at the funeral home.
