Brenda Rushing Samuel, 69, of Marion, died Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Crittenden County Health and Rehab in Marion.
A daughter of the late Denver Rushing and Wanda Scott, and Marie Rushing of Henderson, she was a 1969 Crittenden County High School graduate.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Qualls; and a brother, Tommy Chandler.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 42 years, Larry Samuel; two children, Chad (Lorye) Chandler of Colona, Ill., and Heather (Loren) Champion of Gracey, and Holly (Chad) Lewis of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Charlotte Chandler of Marion, Teresa (Howard) Hughes of Fredonia, Anita (Tim) Pritchett and Linda (Jerry) Thacker, both of Evansville, Ind.; and nieces and nephews, Tony (Lisa) Qualls, Kennedy Hughes, Ethan Lewis, Braxton Lewis; and special friend, her Boston terrier, Emma Chandler.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at Mapleview Cemetery.
